15Hatfields has been bustling this year, so much so that in November we recorded our best-ever trading month since opening our doors in 2008. 

We are delighted to announce this major milestone for our venue here in London's South Bank, as interest continues to soar for our expanded event spaces and unwavering commitment to sustainability. Last year we significantly expanded our offering, opening new event spaces in our lower ground floor. This additional floor hosts up to 300 guests and includes break-out areas for event catering, meetings and networking events. Increasing our venue’s overall capacity to 530, our open plan and easily accessible lower ground floor has been proving popular for a range of events including exhibitions, awards ceremonies and wine tastings.

Event planners have also been keen to increase the amount of face-to-face networking time available to delegates, resulting in a surge in demand for drinks receptions accompanied by either delicious event catering of street food and canapés post-event or enhanced breakfast options to commence the day in style.

Our General Manager, Warren Campbell, said: “November is always a busy month for both the venue and the business meetings and events industry, but we are thrilled to have achieved our best-ever trading month. This remarkable result even surpasses our pre-pandemic achievements, which previously saw us opening many weekends to host training events. It just demonstrates the confidence in the marketplace to host business meetings and events and the growing importance being placed on face-to-face interactivity as humans thrive when they have the chance to connect and collaborate.”

And it’s a trend that looks set to continue in 2024. Warren added: “Our calendar already features a substantial number of business meetings and events for a complete range of industries – many of which are long-term clients. They truly value our flexible and transparent approach alongside our sustainability credentials and guidance, which enables them to reduce the environmental impact of their events. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, that once event planners discover 15Hatfields they keep returning.”

This record-breaking November follows hot on the heels of another successful year for our award-winning sustainable venue. In April we hosted our first palm oil free event, following three years of painstaking work eradicating palm oil from our supply chain. 15Hatfields has been shortlisted for a variety of industry awards and our General Manager, Warren Campbell, has secured a place in micebook’s Power 50: Green Champions
